MILE BUILDING AND TRAINING OPPORTUNITY
Departing on 13th October, I am sailing from Palma de Mallorca to Tenerife in the Canary Islands and am seeking expressions of interest from potential crew. The yacht is a new Sun Odyssey 519 (2018) with 5 cabins. It is a voyage of approx 1400m and will be an excellent opportunity to build some good sea miles and visit some fascinating places along the way. I anticipate stopovers in Ibiza, Gibraltar (or Ceuta), Casablanca, Agadir, La Graciosa and Lanzarote. So it won't be a drag race just to get there and we will smell the roses along the way.
If you are an aspiring Day Skipper or Yachtmaster, it will be an excellent opportunity to gain some blue water miles, practice your navigation, pilotage and ColReg skills. The opportunity will also be there to act as skipper for your qualifying 60M passages, (including overnight).
