Future Skipper & Stew/Cook

Orion is a 90-foot Catana high performance cruising sailing catamaran.
She is a privately registered New Zealand vessel and as such will not be in charter.

Start date: Mid July 2022.

The owner wishes to employ an experienced sailing couple that will take over from the current professional skipper in December 2022 or early 2023.
The current skipper will remain with Orion until after the Atlantic crossing.

Program: Family cruising with the owner & his wife, 3 children (14 boy, 16 girl, 18 boy), & one small fluffy dog. Med, crossing to Caribbean in Nov 2022.

Remaining in the Caribbean until April 2023 and then the owner and his family will decide where to next. Current options being looked at are South Pacific, North to Kingston, Ontario via St Lawrence, or back to the Med. Family and friends will join the boat on occasion.

Position 1: First Mate / Future Skipper. At least 1 year as skipper on a sailing charter cat over 50 feet.

Position 2: Stew/cook. At least 1 year as a stew/cook on a sailing charter cat over 50 feet.

Remuneration and contract conditions in accordance with experience.

The boat is currently in the Canet/Leucate area completing a refit.
