Sail on a Hallberg-Rassy 49 & become the Skipper

I am the owner/skipper of a Hallberg-Rassy 49, refit in 2017, and offered for weekly charters around the Greek islands. I am looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, capable and reliable person to be a crew/host in summer 2018, but who would be seriously interested and determined to become the Skipper of the yacht from 2019 onwards. The crew/host will assist the skipper with sailing/anchoring/mooring, keep the yacht tidy, cook an occasional meal and clean/prepare the yacht between charters. This summer will be a learning/trial period to learn the yacht/locations/weather patterns and to build local knowledge/confidence/trust in each other. A successful cooperation in all aspects (politeness, attention to detail, confidence, ability, potential etc.) will lead to tip at the end of 2018 and a paid skipper position from 2019 onwards. This year's position is not paid, but accommodation and meals on board are provided. Our guests also often give a tip to the crew. Couples are welcome.
