Description
Looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, experienced instructor with a diversity of sailing experience in both cruising and racing, who can take on the position of head instructor in our exciting sailing program. Our courses follow the IYT curriculum, from the International Crew to Yachtmaster Coastal level, including training students for the ICC. Based in West Vancouver, we cruise all over the south coast of beautiful BC, Canada while training.
Must have experience as a cruising instructor, and be a talented teacher of all sailing skills. Strong preference for candidates with a dinghy racing or coaching background, offshore experience, yacht racing experience, etc. Strong preference for candidates with RYA commercial certification but other certification may be considered. Must be eligible to work in Canada (fairly easy if you're under 30 or for some citizenship under 35).
The job is full time from April to September 2019, pay commensurate with experience.
