Description

I am a single handed sailor with a 31 foot 1969 Rustler. Currently located in Ushuaia, the Beagle Channel, Tierra del Fuego in Argentina. I am intending to sail west then north from here through 1200 miles of channels to Puerto Montt on the west coast of Chile. It will be a long passage, maybe three months through a remote and beautiful and wild part of the planet. It will involve a lot of handling shore lines, helping with anchoring etc
Experience tells me that there will be plenty of waiting for the right weather conditions. This part of the world is very windy and it seems always to be against the boat, as well as the current. I can promise you condors and glaciers and dolphins and snowcapped mountains!
There is no phone signal or data though I have a satéllite comms for emails. The boat is small and old and sound. I have a wood burning stove to keep warm. Wet weather gear provided and food contribution requested.
Experience preferred but not essential.
