Description
This passage is one leg on a voyage from Mexico to the East Coast USA via the Panama Canal on a well-maintained, seaworthy, comfortable cruising catamaran with an experienced owner/captain.
This leg begins in Puerto Chiapas and finishes the Atlantic end of the Panama Canal, planned as a non-stop 1,000 nm passage to the Pacific entrance of the canal. We might need to wait a week for our canal transit, which normally takes two days going south to north.
Looking for capable crew that enjoys sailing, is serious while on-watch, can relax and chill when off-watch. The boat comfortably accommodate two single crew members or two sailing couples or a combination of the two. No smoking on board, only light drinking while underway.
Owner/captain is a 57 year old guy, healthy and fit, who has been sailing since he was 10 years old, now into third year of current cruise.
This is a great opportunity to gain coastal cruising experience on a good boat.
