Leopard 39 Catamaran
late June to August 2019
Paid by crew
Long Island NY, USA
Qualification level required (or equivalent)
This passage is one leg on a voyage from Mexico to the East Coast USA via the Panama Canal on a well-maintained, seaworthy, comfortable cruising catamaran with an experienced owner/captain.
This leg is a multi-stop passage up the Intercoastal Waterway from Florida to Long Island, NY, the ultimate destination of the voyage. I’ll update this opportunity as more information is developed but this will be mostly daytime sailing/motoring with stops most nights along the way.
Looking for capable crew that enjoys sailing, is serious while on-watch, can relax and chill when off-watch. The boat comfortably accommodate two single crew members or two sailing couples or a combination of the two. No smoking on board, only light drinking while underway.
Owner/captain is a 57 year old guy, healthy and fit, who has been sailing since he was 10 years old, now into third year of current cruise.
This is a great opportunity to gain coast cruising experience on a good boat.
