Description

So, I've lived on a power boat for four years learning navigation under power, electrical and mechanical maintenance. My girlfriend and I recently took the plunge and sold my power vessel to buy a 38 foot cutter in Italy. She's a strong ocean-going yacht with extensive upgrades including a brand new mainsl, new rigging, valeted headsails and rebuilt engine. What we're interested to find out is if there are any skippers out there who would like to come sailing and teach us a thing or two in return for building up their miles and gaining teaching experience? E.g., if you're working towards yachtmaster and need to rack up your 30 days / 800 miles. We would pay for reasonable travel, provide food and drink on board (we're mean cooks!), and naturally cover all expenses related to the running of the boat. Essentially, you can come sailing for free as long as you're able to skipper the boat :) would love to call or skype if you're interested to find out more, message for details.
