Hawaii to San Francisco August 2020

Leg 03 of our 2020 Pacific Loop!

Open ocean sailing and a unique crossing experience.

We will leave the Hawaii in August 2020 and head straight north to work our way around the Pacific High. At this point we will likely need to motor or motor sail to reach the westerly winds normally above 40 deg N where we can turn and head for California. As the temperature and water get colder we will try to dodge the Gales on the approach to the Coast and end the trip passing under the Golden Gate Bridge.

This is another Epic trip and we are looking for the right people to share it with.

While no offshore experience strictly necessary you should have a good sense of your abilities. We are happy to teach but remember there is no turning back once we are committed to the trip. :-)
