Description
Leaving Baiona, near Vigo, Spain, end of Season for long legs down Portugal and into the Rio Guadiana, about 400 miles, one to three weeks depending on crew and interests. Vigo is handy for Santiago airport, with Faro at the other end. We'll probably pop into Porto but if the weather's good I'd rather make the miles and slow it down once home in the Algarve.
About Castaway: The sails are easily handled and the boat is dry and comfy at sea. 75hp engine, Raymarine plotter and autohelm, life raft, epirb, new flares and fire extinguishers. New running rigging. Upgraded lifelines. New fridge. Hot and cold running water with shower. One Baby Blake head. Lots of towels, bedding, warm clothes aboard to assist your light travel. Two dinghies, kayak, canoe and SUP. Solar and wind generator. Inverter with lots of USB plug ins. Carrying tools and spares galore.
I've got loads of crewing experience world wide. Skippered this boat 7 years, mainly local, France, Scillies.
