Description

This is a great opportunity for sailors to get a week's cruising. It’s all weather dependent but we hope to have a day exploring Dublin before an 80Nm crossing to Peel on the west coast of the Isle of Man. This is an amazing Island to explore and sailors can choose to see some of the major sites or just chill onboard for a day.
The next passage should see us over to Bangor with a stop on Copeland Island if the wind allows a distance of less than 50Nm. From Bangor we make our way up The Antrim coast with its notorious tides and hopefully a stop on Rathlin Island before alighting at Ballycastle a week later. Robert your Skipper is an RYA Yachtmaster Instructor and happy to teach crew as much as they like along the way.
The bus from Ballycastle to Belfast takes 2:40 minutes (131, 217) and leaves 5 times a day.
Total distance approximately 220Nm. There is the possibility of staying on for another weeks cruising around the Hebrides finishing on the Island of Barra in Scotland.
