First mate on a 55' charter catamaran

We have super busy season coming up,here in Phuket, and we're looking for some extra hands to help our skippers out. It would suit someone with basic sailing skills, wanting to build up their sea miles; if even just someone who is agile and a quick-learner. The most important facet is good technical skills, a top Mr / Ms Fixit.

The second must-have is sociable nature, able to mix with people from all walks of life. Our guests are generally GREAT people - often repeats or referrals - and usually we have as much fun on a trip as they do!

Our trips are an 8 day itinerary; we'd be open to a wide range of ideas, from someone doing a one-off trip, or better still, someone interested in doing a whole season.

Wages are negotiable - eg, if it's a short one-off trip, then it would basically be a trade - a freebie holiday in return for just being there with a spanner if one should be needed. For someone who works out well and can stay for a longer period, then we'd review that.
