Great Adventure, Great Arctic Sailing 2021

For a long trip into the Arctic, I'm looking for a co-skipper who joins me for a minimum of three months. Level RYA Yachtmaster Offshore.

With the Janne, a sturdy 44ft alu Koopmans, we will sail to West-Greenland (May-July) up in Davis Strait, pass to Bylot Island (ice and weather permitting, August) and down along Baffin Island (September).

I intend to bring groups of 4 guests to their favorite spot for their favorite sports (climbing, diving, kayaking, hiking). The Janne is their transport ship and floating basecamp. All on non-commercial basis.

Skipper and co-skipper sail the boat, guests give some support but have no true responsibility. We each have our own cabin, the guests sleep in the salon (4p-couchette style).

I'm looking for an experienced and solid sailor (male/female), that is able to sail a 44footer independently, resourceful, witty, easy character, frank and bold. In short, a good mate. Fitness is mandatory, ice-experience welcome!
