Me and my girlfriend are looking for an experienced sailor to help us transfer our boat from Algeciras (Spain - Straight of Gibraltar) to Trapani (Sicily) from the end of September/beginning of October.
Waypoints: Gibraltar, Balearic Islands, South Sardinia and West Sicily
1000 miles to go, at least 10 days sailing + stops
The boat is an Endurance 44 ferrocement ketch equipped with:
- 4 sails
- new Volvo Penta 75hp engine
- 500 litres water
- 500 litres diesel
- all new Garmin electronics
- autopilot autohelm
- solar panels and 2kw generator
- Garmin Ais 800
- new 500 amp Gel service batteries and 200 amp engine batteries
