Description

The Port Cygnet Sailing Season is about to open (October 4th) with a hectic schedule of races. We day-race every Sunday from now on until March next year. Most races are for about two hours with a start at 1230 hours. My partner and I raced last year mostly just two up (very hectic!) and were running about 3rd or fourth in the fleet. We are looking for crew to join us on a regular basis. Experience is not really necessary but commitment is, as is the willingness to learn and improve. There are lots of videos online about how to sail these very challenging boats. We are looking for one possibly two crew. I am a very experienced sailor having done two world circumnavigations as well as many thousands of coastal miles in all parts of the world. PCSC is a very sociable club and the sailing and culture in this little village south of Hobart, Tasmania is delightful.
