Arctic 2022

From April to Oktober 2022 the SY Janne will sail into the Arctic. The trip starts in Amsterdam, with a stop at the Isles of Scilly, and then directly to South Greenland ( Prins Christian Sund), Nuuk, Disko Bay. In August a passage to Baffin Island is planned, to bring a group of climbers to the big walls of Sam Ford Fjord. In September a drop-off at Auyuittuiq National Park is possible. In Oktober we will sail further south along Newfoundland and Nova Scotia / Halifax.

For this journey I am seeking co-skippers (RYA Yachtmaster Offshore) who will sail my 44footer with me along these coasts, and the passages in and out. I am thinking about two periods of three months, so a co-skip for April / May / June ( Amsterdam>Ilulissat ) and one for July / August / September (Ilulissat> Iqaluit).
For the outbound journey in September/Oktober (Iqaluit>Halifax) I am looking for three crewmembers (RYA Competent Crew), preferably from USA, Canada.
