Shakedown Cruise

I bought my boat in Biloxi Mississippi on April first, 2021. I had no relevant experience. Through a combination of sailing and motoring, I came to Kemah, Texas last year. I have spent the intervening months working on and improving my vessel. Now as the one-year mark approaches it is time to start doing shake-down cruises. I will be taking a lot of short day-sailing trips into Galveston bay. Before July I would like to relocate at least to Port Isabel on the Mexico border where I can start making exploratory forays into Mexico waters and potentially further south to an as of yet unknown marina on the east coast of Mexico. I would like someone to accompany me on some or all of these trips. I don't have experience sailing but I lived on a riverboat in the past and do know navigation rules at least. Also, I have a very little ego and learn quickly. I can pay for you to return to Kemah if you accompany me to Port Isabel.
