Description

We take volunteer crew from a range of backgrounds to assist us with our marine conservation work (currently in Costa Rica). We have a 42m ship, 7.4m Rigid Inflatable, 4.7m Zodiac, 7m barge, plus a 200kg Military Drone. We support Park Rangers and Scientists in the 4 CMAR countries (Costa Rica, Ecuador, Panama and Colombia). For the next few months we are helping monitor Marine Protected Areas on the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. Following this we will voyage to Coiba Island in Panama to assist around this amazing area. We are always looking for great people that are committed to conservation, and that are looking for adventures with an amazing team of talented people. Crew pay towards costs. Typically its $3k for 3 months. Or lesser amounts if it is a 1 or 2 month deployment. Long-term crew remain free after their 3 months. Most crew are experienced, but we do have 2 spots set aside for unqualified crew looking to build sea miles or references on a 750 ton ship.
