Description

We are looking for a mate for our 2023 Sail Training programme. We are a charity that provides opportunities for disadvantaged young people to go on week long sailing voyages. 2023 sees the Trust's 40th year of operation.

We have a fleet of three traditional vessels and the successful applicant will have opportunity throughout the season to gain experience and knowledge across the fleet under the guidance of our skipper's.

As a small charity, the successful candidate will need to be a strong team player with a positive attitude.

Candidates should have the following:
- Experience of working with young people
- Yachtmaster Offshore with Commercial Endorsement

The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.

APPLICANTS MUST HAVE THE RIGHT TO LIVE AND WORK IN THE UK.

This is a paid position with scheduled leave periods.
