Seeking a seasonal or permanent Captain for an unusual wooden day charter schooner.

Are you looking for an stimulating challenge based in St Maarten? The vessel is a 24m wooden schooner, built in Brazil in 2017. Our mission is to provide fun day adventures for visitors to the island and locals alike, with the aim of giving back and supporting St Maarten charities.

You will be operating out of Simpson Bay, Dutch side, leading day tours and sunset cruises in coastal waters and the lagoon. You should be confident with managing a crew of 5-6 and up to 70 passengers, performing tight manoeuvres under engine, and a delivering a monthly maintenance schedule. You should be comfortable engaging with passengers of different nationalities and simultaneously maintaining and atmosphere of fun and safety.
