Thames sailing barges are crewed by two people, a qualified skipper and a mate. We are looking for a permanent mate to join our team, working across the fleet on our three barges. Based in Maldon, Essex we also charter at other East Coast locations. For the right candidate this is a career opportunity with the intention of enabling you to gain skipper qualifications as well as other skills. Mostly day charters. Excellent people skills essential. ideally experienced with sailing traditional vessels.
