Channel Island / West Country Summer Cruise

Last minute opportunity to join a ‘Beneteau Swift Trawler 44’ power boat cruising the Channel Islands and the West Coast. Departing Port Solent 15th June 2018 and arriving Dartmouth 23rd June 2018. Ideal for those advancing their RYA qualifications but lacking the required mileage.

Equal contributions to fuel costs, overnight marina costs and victualing costs are all that is required. (Fuel costs increase the faster we cruise!)

You must enjoy social aspects of sailing and be prepared to ‘muck in’ with all aspects of boat life. Although now a power boat owner, I am a qualified Yachtmaster Ocean and used to teach sailing so this is also a great opportunity to increase your skills – especially passage planning and pilotage.

The boat will be in the West Country for a couple of weeks after 23rd June (personal use) but there will be an opportunity to join the boat for a leisurely passage back to Port Solent around 4th to 7th July.
