Planning a three week epic tour of Michigan Midwest for racing Melges 24 sportboat in several regattas. Approximate dates are July 22 through August 14, 2019. Plan is to depart Texas with boat and travel north for 2-3 days to Upper Michigan and settle in Traverse City area. There are two major regattas there and several minor ones. All told, about 10 days of sailing and 4-6 days driving truck and trailer to and fro. Its about 3200 miles round trip. Would stay in AirBnB on road and combo of camping and housing. Plan to cycle in Michigan. Have spare bikes for crew as well.
