Ahoy,
We will be sailing from Tenerife to Palma de Mallorca via Madeira. It is a voyage of approx 1400NM. It is an excellent mile building and training opportunity.

Dates: 16.04.2022 - 03.05.2022 (18 days)

It will not just be a race to get there. I anticipate stopovers in Madeira, Gibraltar, Almeria, and Ibiza.

If you are an aspiring Skipper or Yachtmaster, it will be an excellent opportunity to gain some blue water miles, practice navigation, pilotage and COLREG skills on tidal waters.

The opportunity will also be there to act as a skipper for your RYA Yachtmaster Offshore qualifying 60M passages (including overnight). You can also be a Watch Leader on the passage over 600NM qualifying for RYA Yachtmaster Ocean.

During the long ocean passage we will navigate using celestial navigation with sextant.
