Cruising in the Solent, South Coast and Beyond

Reliable, enthusiastic crew wanted for trips from Southampton for day sailing, weekends and further afield on a well appointed, sea worthy Maxi-1000. This is an ideal opportunity for young, recently qualified Comp Crew or Day Skippers looking to develop their seamanship, build miles and experience with a friendly, experienced skipper and group of crew and family.
Whilst we like to sail fast and well, Heartbeat is not a "shouty" boat, and we have an emphasis on fun, learning and developing everyone's confidence. We'll go out in most stuff the crew can safely manage and early starts or night sails are not unlikely. Your own cabin can be arranged for overnights and you will get involved in all aspects of sailing, passage planning etc.
A contribution to fuel / food would be appreciated, though not expected, and you'll need to get yourself to and from the boat. References available and a Teams / Zoom chat and familiarisation sail are the next steps. Non-smokers only please.
