Immediate! Transat - St Martin to Mallorca

Beneteau 51, 1996, from St.Martin, to Palma, Mallorca.
Crew positions available for 2/3 persons. Sailing certification not necessary, but some offshore experience preferable. Crew will be expected to share watches, cooking, cleaning etc.
The boat is currently being prepared for a departure as soon as possible.
Captain is a highly experienced professional, with a considerable number of ocean crossings completed.
The plan is to carry out this 3700nm passage without any stops, unless this becomes necessary due to weather conditions etc. It is anticipated that the passage will take around 25 days.
The captain is preparing the vessel with particular emphasis on safety equipment. There is an in-date Ocean Safety liferaft, a new EPIRB, a full inventory of signal flares, and new fire extinguishers. The rig has just been inspected by a top rigging shop, and recommendations provided by them will have been carried out. There is an Iridium satellite phone for weather downloads.
