Description

Cherbourg to Lisbon (Cascais) is an epic stretch of water including rounding the Ushant, passing the Cap Finisterre and crossing the Bay of Biscay. It includes lots of dramatic and historic landmarks for seafarers since centuries. After passing the North Western point of the Iberian Peninsula, we should finally expect some decent trades to take us to Lisbon. Because of the time of year the weather should be in our favor and we try to do as many stopovers as we can along the way!
This is a true blue water leg with all the proper watch rota procedures and high seas drills. If you plan to crew on a blue water craft or maybe even take a yacht of your own long distance, this is the perfect opportunity to learn. Possible stop-overs: Roscoff - Brest – La Coruna – Porto – Lisbon

We will provide:
- Professional crew
- Full board when at sea
- Personal safety gear (Spinlock 6D life jackets + PLB:s)
- Fully equipped coded highs seas boat (Swan 51)
- Bedding etc
