My son and I are sailing from Grenada to the UK
We plan to leave about the first of May. To get our sea legs we will sail up the Caribbean chain for about a week. Then set sail for Devon.
I am a retired doctor. I have over 40 years experience and have sailed over most of Atlantic Europe. I have done two Atlantic crossings with my wife. I am a cautious non gung-ho sailor!
My son is a mechanical engineer and is a proficient sailor.
We are looking for a third person. Paper qualifications are not too important but practical sailing experience is. You must be happy watch keeping by yourself. We would like you to be flexible, amiable and enthusiastic..Non smoker.
All boat expenses including food will be paid by me. Travel will be paid by you.
We are the second owners of the boat. She is a marvellous sea boat especially in rough weather. All safety gear and rigging will be overhauled before we leave.
