BVI Spring Regatta

Panacea X is a highly competitive Salona 45, running a pay-to-play race team with a professional skipper and first mate who provide top quality coaching to all crew. So far in the 2024 Caribbean season, we’ve been on the podium in every regatta , including winning our class at the St.Maarten Heineken Regatta for the second year in a row!

Included in our program is the offshore delivery from St.Martin to the BVIs and returning after the regatta- a great opportunity to get some offshore training, and get to know the boat before the racing kicks off. Crew can also just meet the boat in the BVIs.

For the BVI Spring Regatta, prior sailing experience is required and some racing experience is preferred but not mandatory. Reasonable level of physical strength and fitness is also required. We strongly recommend preparing for the racing by hitting the weights and/or resistance training for good core and upper body strength, as well as working on endurance through cardio training.
