Crew aboard Tall Ship Providence

The tall ship providence is a replica of the sloop of war Katie , which was an early command of John Paul Jones, in the United States Continental Navy. Providence engages in day sailing on the Potomac river just south of Washington DC. We are currently hiring for our 2024 season. Experience and solid understanding of the fundamental elements of sailing are always well received, but not a requirement. More importantly, is that you have a love of sailing, Good attitude willingness to learn and comfortable working on a vessel with 30+ passengers. We are also looking for historical interpreters to provide dockside tours, or a combination of H.I and sailing crew member. For documenting sea time we are classified as a 100 ton vessel. We do not have live aboard capacity so room and board Will not be provided. We are near the metro line which provides for a broad range of housing possibilities in the area.
