Description
a Boutique Tall Ship Sailing Company operating in the Caribbean. S/V Vela, homeport Rodney Bay, St. Lucia, is currently seeking qualified applicants for the positions of Chef & Cook. The idea candidate must have the following Credentials and perform the following duties.
• STCW-2010 – must be current
• Security Awareness Course
• Preparation of menus for 6 night and 12 night cruises.
• Preparation of meals; breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack-cocktail hour daily
• Conduct inventory counts weekly which will assist with provisioning requirements and budgetary requirements
• Create provisioning list
• Assist with weekly shopping
• Sanitization and cleaning of galley
• A professional approach to guests and their dietary needs and the daily requirements of the position
