The sailboat (s/v Andante - 40 foot 1987 Hans Christian Christina) is departing Puerto Vallarta in early April 2024.
Father (Kevin the skipper) and his son (Jordan - 28 years old) are looking for a third crew member to help with the passage.
Ideally (but negotiable for the right person) looking for someone under 50 and female (to help with gender balance on a three-week passage).
The boat is built for blue water and well equipped with EPIRB, AIS transponder, Liferaft, Auto-pilot, Water maker and Garmin Chartplotter.
The crew member must have some passage experience and ability to stand watches alone, manage sea-sickness, participate in meal preparation, minor maintenance, cleaning of boat, etc. Also, a non-smoker and abstain from alcohol on ocean passages. You will have your own cabin with a cabin door for privacy. There is only one head on board.
