Opportunities with the Fleet Cruising Club

The Fleet Cruising Club owns Estela. We are a non profit organisation professionally set up by its UK members in 1999. The concept is that 30 members have access to a quality boat with no long term fixed base, sail together whenever possible, and undertake sequential cruising where members act as skipper. Crews are from the club &/or family/guests. Funding is from a one-off £3.3k loan to the Club, plus an annual subscription (2026 figure) of £828 and daily hire fee. Membership enquiries are welcome though vacancies may be limited.
For 2026 Estela is based N of Split, Croatia.
Our bespoke website enables us to share plans and find opportunities. The possibilities are varied, depending on members' wishes. Past cruising grounds have included the Baltic, Norway, East and West Mediterranean, the Atlantic Islands, the UK, Ireland and the Caribbean.
Ideal for the newly qualified looking for others to sail with and on a boat on which you have part ownership and a sense of engagement.
