One week gentle cruise, Athens, Greece to Samos

This is a brand new Beneteau Oceanis 30.1 currently being prepared to go in the water at Alimos Marina, Athens. I have configured S/Y Mollie for single-handled sailing with a self-tacking jib, all roller-reefing, 'German system' of mainsail sheeting etc.. She unusually also has silent electric propulsion. I am offering the better of the two cabins for one person or a couple to give me a hand on her maiden voyage while I learn the boat.

She is expected to be ready to sail from Athens morning of 20th July 2026.

The journey from Athens to Samos could be done non-stop in a little over 48 hours, I intend to break it up and call at islands along the way, only sailing in perfect conditions, probably mornings before the wind picks up, allowing one week overall. There will be plenty of time to explore ports and islands of call as you wish.

Samos has an airport with direct flights to the UK and also to Athens.

I will cover onboard expenses. Everything else is down to the crew.
