Occasional sailing from Southampton

As I am no longer as nimble or fit as I would like, I am seeking energetic, enthusiastic, probably younger, crew to join me for occasional weekend or longer trips on my Westerly Oceanlord, who are able to do most of the active deckwork, handling mooring lines, and grinding winches etc. As a retired sail training skipper and cruising instructor, I can show you the ropes (literally!) and teach you about sailing and navigation.

We may go no further than one of the Solent ports in a weekend, but there may be a couple of slightly longer trips along the South coast or even to the Channel Islands.

And, there could be the chance to become regular crew, or, with more experience, train as a mate.
